Our pilau rice blend combines turmeric for colour, black pepper for a bit of heat and cloves for a touch of warming bitterness.
Processing
Our spice blends are handmade in small batches for added freshness at our processing unit in Bristol. We use minimal salt & sugar where possible and never use additives, fillers or anti-caking agents. Our spice blends are also organic certified & are made using the same spices that we source from our partner farmers.
Usage
Perfect for homemade pilau rice to accompany your home-cooked or takeaway curry. On the side of our glass jar packaging, we've included instruction on how to make your rice.
Packaging
All spices are available in both glass jars and refill pouches. Packaging is either recyclable or home compostable. The refill pouches are the exact same quantity as the jars so you only have to buy the jar once, or not at all if you already have your own jars.
Design
The main benefit of buying our glass jars are the instructions (email us if you buy the sachet) & artwork on the labels which is curated and designed by local Bristol artist & illustrator Hannah Grace. Our jars have 4 different designs, each representing a landscape from where our spices are sourced.
